We Left London for the Beach.
Best Decision Ever.

ClickTheory is what happens when two digital marketing obsessives trade grey skies for sunshine and decide to do things differently.

The Short Version

After a decade cutting their teeth at London's most demanding agencies – where deadlines were tight, clients were tougher, and "good enough" wasn't in the vocabulary – Nick and Anita packed up their flat in Shoreditch and chased the sun to Byron Bay.

They'd worked on campaigns for FTSE 100 companies, designed websites that actually converted, and learned that the best marketing doesn't feel like marketing at all. They'd also learned that charging $500 an hour doesn't make you good at your job – it just makes you expensive.

Now, from Australia's most creative coastal town, they're bringing that London agency rigour to Australian businesses – minus the pretentious jargon and eye-watering hourly rates. ClickTheory is what happens when you combine big-city experience with the laid-back honesty of the Australian coast.

"No fluff. No BS. Just results that make your competitors nervous."

The Longer Version

Nick's Story

Nick started his digital career in the trenches of London's agency scene back when "SEO" was still a dirty word and Google was just getting interesting. He spent years at agencies ranging from scrappy startups to the big names you'd recognise, working with clients from ambitious local businesses to multinational corporations.

His specialty? Taking complex digital strategies and making them actually work. While others were busy crafting impressive-sounding presentations, Nick was in the weeds – testing, measuring, optimising, and figuring out what actually moves the needle. He's the kind of person who reads Google's algorithm updates for fun (don't tell anyone).

Anita's Story

Anita came to digital from the design world, bringing an eye for aesthetics that most marketing people simply don't have. She spent years art directing campaigns for fashion brands, tech startups, and everything in between, learning that beautiful design means nothing if it doesn't convert.

Her superpower is understanding what makes people click, literally and figuratively. She's obsessed with user experience, conversion optimisation, and creating digital experiences that feel effortless even when they're anything but.

The Byron Bay Chapter

In 2019, Nick and Anita made the leap. They left behind the tube commutes, the grey skies, and the "quick" pints that turned into 2am nights. Byron Bay was calling – the beaches, the community, the chance to build something of their own.

ClickTheory was born from a simple observation: Australian businesses deserved better than what they were getting. Too many agencies were either charging London prices for Sydney service, or churning out template websites and cookie-cutter campaigns that didn't move the needle.

There had to be a middle ground. Personal service, genuine expertise, fair prices, and results you can actually measure. That's what ClickTheory is all about.

How We Work

Results First

We don't get excited about vanity metrics. We care about leads, sales, and growth – the stuff that actually matters to your business.

Plain English

No jargon, no buzzwords, no hiding behind complexity. We explain what we're doing and why, in words that make sense.

Selective Partnerships

We'd rather work with fewer clients and do brilliant work than take on everyone and deliver mediocrity.

Data-Driven

Every recommendation we make is backed by data. Gut feelings are great, but numbers don't lie.

Based in Byron Bay.
Working Australia-Wide.

Our office is a two-minute walk from the beach (which probably explains the sandy keyboards). We work with clients all over Australia – from Sydney boardrooms to Perth startups to Tasmanian producers.

We believe great work doesn't require everyone being in the same room. Video calls, shared screens, and a decent internet connection work just fine. Plus, you get the benefit of our creativity being fuelled by ocean air rather than recycled office air con.
